在高速上飞飙刹车突然失效?想想都是一场梦魇，怕是每个人都不想遇到的。正因为此，科研人员在刹车片磨损指示方面也是煞费苦心。

然而目前来看，不管是机械式还是电子式的磨损指示器（Wear Indicator）都有一个共同的缺点，即只能等到磨损到极限位置时才能报警。是否能让刹车片剩余厚度像油量一样实时显示在仪表盘上？今天，我们就来看一个最新的发明zhuanli。

Since the pads are designed as wear parts the pads aregenerally softer than the brake disc, the pads experience a change of the padthickness over their usage duration.

该发明的基本设想是使用一磨损距离传感器，传感器的壳体里有一个探头，该探头被装置在刹车片里，这样传感器与刹车片本身会有相同的磨损。具有探头的传感器由于磨损变短，这就造成传感器里电阻器的变化，而实时的测量电阻器的欧姆值很简单。这样，显示每个刹车片的厚度变的可能。

原理很好理解，方法与小编之前想的一样（-_-#），在具体实现上文章里做了些建议，如壳体使用耐热的非导电体、电阻器需使用热稳定性电阻，而且硬度要与摩擦材料类似或比刹车盘软，这些都是适用的关键条件。
